Aluminum
Aluminium movement joints are the light-duty member of the family: they absorb expansion in tile fields, terraces and screeds where the traffic is pedestrian and the joint does not have to carry wheel loads.
Sections are extruded aluminium with a sliding centre piece and EPDM gasket, supplied in 2500mm lengths with 10-40mm movement capacity. They are set in the tile bed like a normal profile, so no special substrate preparation is needed. For vehicle traffic, specify the stainless steel version.
