Stainless steel movement joints are the heavy-duty option: they take wheel loads, trolley traffic and thermal movement in the same detail, which is why they are used in airports, stations, hospitals and industrial floors.
Sections combine 304 or 316 stainless edge rails with a sliding centre and a replaceable gasket, in widths from 20mm to 100mm and movement capacities up to 50mm. They are anchored into the screed rather than bedded in adhesive, so the joint is structurally tied to both slabs.
